Flyers In 7
The momentum of the puck has switched to the home team in each of the first 5 games of the Stanley Cup playoffs. Conventional wisdom would suggest the Chicago Blackhawks will win the series in 7 games. This is what Vegas refers to as a sucker bet. When everything points in one direction inevitably the opposite will happen. Chicago is the better team but hasn't capitalized on their advantage in Philadelphia. Meanwhile the Flyers have relied on the energy from the crowd and a never say die attitude to keep them going. Anything can happen in a game 7, injury, food poisoning, migraines, anything. Emotions will run high and the players get tense. Look for Chris Pronger and Jeff Carter to do something unexpected in game 7 and win the Stanley Cup. (after they win game 6 of course). The overwhelming favorite has a tendency to succumb to the pressure. Sorry Chicago.
