NBA B3TZ

New York vs. New Orleans

The New York Knicks are off to a surprising 7-1 start despite the absence of Amare Stoudemire.  The New Orleans Hornets are trying to find a way to get rookie Anthony Davis involved on both sides of the court.  The Hornets are a work in progress so the Knicks should have no problem as long as Carmelo Anthony is on his game. and the team didn't drink too many hurricanes last night.  Burbuon Street and the French Quarters can be pretty entertaining after dark.

Brooklyn vs. Los Angeles

I still not used to saying the Brooklyn Nets, but I'm getting better at it.  The Nets are much improved with the addition of Joe Johnson and seem to be getting acclimated to their new surroundings quite nicely.  Kobe and the Lakers have been playing inspired ball since the hoky Princeton offense is no longer a part of their system.  So long as Kobe gets to take lots of shots the Lakers should take care of business against Brooklyn.
